EGO put a lot of thought into the design of its 42-inch Z6 zero turn with a refinement in design that set it apart. There was some room for improvement in several areas that the EGO 52-inch zero turn lawn mower addresses.

The most obvious change to the latest EGO zero turn lawn mower is its larger 52-inch deck. Considering the original was 42 inches, the extra width is welcome for larger lawns. What’s not as obvious is the shift to a more durable fabricated deck.

The mower’s five independent brushless motors draw from a set of higher-capacity 12.0Ah batteries to produce the equivalent of 25 horsepower. That’s a boost from the 42-inch’s 22 horsepower equivalency.

With the full loadout of six packs that come in the kit, that’s 72Ah of 56V power available. According to EGO’s data, you can mow up to 4 acres on a charge with that configuration, doubling the original ZT’s range.

Several accessories will also be available:

Available at your favorite EGO retailer starting in mid-March, EGO’s beefier zero turn has a retail price of $6999. It includes six 12.0Ah batteries and a charger. As usual, EGO backs the mower with its 5-year warranty.
